Forbes has listed 15 of the most powerful women in Entertainment and Media that are effecting change and tackling sexual harassment.
With many men and women in Hollywood coming out with their sexual harassment stories, the issue is raising much needed awareness to the matter. Making it a perfect time to talk about some of the women who are trying to make a change within the industry.
Most recently, Taylor Swift was rewarded $1 in damages after suing a DJ who sexually assaulted her during a photo op. Swift pledged to donate more for “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault.”
Some of the women who were included on the list included the Conde Nast Artistic Director Anna Wintour, music superstars Beyonce Knowles and Taylor Swift and actress Priyanka Chopra.
