Although people remember Yelchin for his memorable portrayal of Pavel Chekhov in the Star Trek reboots, he stole hearts in movies like Fright Night (Charley Brewster) and Terminator Salvation (Kyle Reese). This past June, Yelchin’s life was cut short when he died in a freak car accident at the age of 27.
The Other Gallery will honor Yelchin by displaying his work through December 31, 2016. The exhibit includes 40 images from the late actor, and all proceeds will be delivered to the Anton Yelchin Foundation to help guide children and film-making students.

Star Trek alums Chris Pine (James T. Kirk), John Cho (Hikaru Sulu), and director J.J. Abrams all attended the opening, but they weren’t the only ones. Dakota and Elle Fanning, Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, and more also showed their support.

I loved Anton Yelchin so much. He was a true artist – curious, beautiful, courageous. He was a great pal and a great son. I’m in ruins.

The sweetest, most humble, delightful, talented guy you’d ever meet. Worked together for about a year. Shocked. https://t.co/uyg2NlmhqP
