This sophisticated bun may look difficult, but it’s not. Here’s how to conquer this gorgeous look in 5 steps.
- Start with your hair down, and make sure it’s dry. To keep the hair around your face frizz-free, brush each section of hair back with a glossing cream like Nevo Model Behavior Styling Crème. If you want to frame your face with a few pieces, leave those sections in the front.
- Use section clips to keep each side of your head smooth. Then comb your hair back, and secure your low ponytail with an elastic band.
- Split the hair in your ponytail into two sections, and tie them into a basic knot. To add even more texture, twist the sections first; then tie your knot.
- Wrap the leftover hair around your bun, and secure with bobby pins. If you want a messy-looking bun, gently massage the hair out of the bun, or leave the leftover hair out of the bun completely.
- Finish your bun with a long-lasting hairspray like Kenra Professional Platinum Finishing Spray 26.
